Several months ago, when we split up the server and reformatted the machines, we created a non-profit production organization that would develop and maintain SciFi related-information contact driven sites. With that we created the group called “FrakMedia Productions”

Under this one title we would host/produce very detailed information gathering sites about SciFi shows with the idea putting the major practices of the Battlestar Wiki on point. Some of those include our Strong citation policy and even organized episode guides that tailor to all readers. Real life has slowed the release of this site, but today we are opening up — along with some new sites that will come online in the next few days.

Currently open to the public are these sites:

• Battlestar Wiki
• Battlestar Forum
• Sanctuary Wiki
• Battlestar Pegasus

Each of these sites will follow the “general” rule of the FrakMedia rules once everything is in full swing and then each site will have it’s own internal policies. I.e. The Battlestar Wiki and Battlestar Forum might be the same, ran by the same people, but they are not connected with the same policies even though some might be similar.

Our team is made up some of the same people right now who run Battlestar Wiki. Because of this secondary sites will have information about FrakMedia, but not the whole story from now on.. This include important server updates and alike. Each “wiki” will have a blog similar to Battlestar Wiki’s. If the site is not a wiki, like the Battlestar Fourm, the news will get placed here. But individual sites news will still be on each site main “information” page — where ever that might be. Well.. to be honest, I think I have told you so much.
